Last fall I wrote a post called How To Clean Silver ~ The Easy Way! It was well received and I hope you used it to breathe new life into your tarnished silver. The method used in the post was a salt bath using tin foil. A few readers commented that baking soda worked just as well as the salt. I thought why not combine the two and see what happens? The urns I cleaned last fall needed cleaned again so I decided to give it a try.
